Beauty + Usability = Both

When people start to think , there always have a question. Beauty versus usability , how do you thing about it. Is beauty more important than usability ? Can it works together? Visual imagery play an important role in this world due to beauty normally give better first impression to people and people tend to look for it in every sector of job.Human, always look things on appearance and easy attract by aesthetic things, no matters during ancient time or 20th century. How aesthetic object can attract human ?When people look at an object, outcome is the first thing they will focus on even from a far distance. Things with a ‘humble’ cover have a large change of remaining unnoticed or even knowingly ignored. So Aesthetic outcome can be also describe as a ‘ harlo effect’ and we always succumb to the halo effect as well.

Beside that, a dominant human do not agree beauty thing work better. According to my article I found that Jacob Neilsen argued that users don’t care about design for design’s sake; they just want to get in and get out.The dominant attitude at the time held that usability ruled above all else. Aesthetics were secondary to getting shit done. Seriously, maybe we should not judge a book by its cover. Let’s say if you have a object with a aesthetic outcome, does it affect the object to perceived usability? Example, one of my friend said that ‘ if there have 5 presentation board surely you will go to the most attractive one.’ I agreed with that , beauty do function. If the presentation board with a leak or wrongly information will you still pay attention on it? Low usability make us dissapointed and that frustration show up in our rating of aesthetic even the designer did a good job. Is its possible to work better if beauty and usability works together?

Based on my article, the point i choose to support my point of view is ‘BEAUTY + USABILTY = BOTH’ written by Matt Stempeck. There is a relationship between beauty and usability. Aesthetics always bring positive mind to people as soon as they saw it and it always tend to give people think that aesthetics brings along usability together. But that is not the reality, in real life, aesthetics seems happen to bring out weak usability and that is why both aesthetics and usability always get indirect proportional relationship. Beauty and usability are intertwined. People are smart , we don’t lose our judgement capabilities just because an interface is beautiful. They don’t even want to buy thing in unperfect . .

As a conclusion, beauty and usability must work together. Human desired to have both beauty and usability in a product, and known as a good design. A good design make our life better.

The Imitation Game

This is a story about a saviour. An un-sung hero of World War II; Alan Turing, a genius British mathematician who secretly worked tirelessly to decode the German 'Enigma' code within the now famous Hut 8 of Bletchley Park. Remarkably, his breakthroughs in cryptography and technological achievements are still realized today in the form of 'Turing Machines' ¨C to me and others, these are now called computers. In different ways whether we are aware of it, computers have influenced a lot on the way how we live in this world.

The story begins by telling us that we have to pay attention or else we gonna miss something in the movie because the story will continue with the kind of puzzle like scenes that keep jumping next scene from one to another. It is same in our real life, staying focus is the only way to keep us safe and succeed in our life. It is so simple just to keep our eye on the movie because the movie itself is just like the magnet that keep attracting both of my metal eyeballs. But when we come into the real life, staying focus is not just as simple as watching movies. If you lose your focus while driving car, that is suicide; if you lose focus on your study, that is failure or if you lose focus to your lifestyle and it only gonna mess up your life. That is why paying attention is so crucial because your whole life will  gonna change depends on it but if one made it, he sure living a better life. It sounds so simple yet complicated to achieve.

Alan's clinical, precise and unrelenting witty focus to achieve the impossible begins to alienate his team mates and superiors, which ultimately creates a rift in support of Alan's grand plans to build a cutting-edge machine to help decipher the infamous German code. Here it showed to me the power of unity and the strength of friendship. It is here we see the real Alan too ¨C the exposed Alan, in which his absolute genius forgoes his interpersonal skill set. This is a challenge in itself for Alan to embark upon, and it's a real heart- warming treat to watch how his relationships develop with his peers to an ultimate conclusion of sacrifice, friendship and mutual respect. Benedict Cumberbatch ultimately lays bare the man that Alan Turing was; a real man of warmth and soul that the numerous writings and texts after Alan's death in 1954. No doubts, Cumberbatch played a wonderful performance that will remains very memorable indeed and this could be a highlight of his career.

Besides that, the movie showed to us that being an extraordinary person meant to have a hard time. On early age, he get bullied by his classmate by simply locking him down to the timber floor. Simply imagine that a child being locked down into a tiny wooden grid and he can do nothing but to scream for help. This is totally a nightmare for Alan Turing and normally a nightmare type-like childhood often lead into relationship trauma in adulthood. This is one of the reason Alan Turing developed into a homosexual character. Although the main issue is not the bully element itself, it is about being an extraordinary people meant to suffer before he or she did something big later in late life. Who knows, maybe some of them could not made it so far because they so desperate and frustrate with the uniqueness of himself that result in bringing more harms than good to them. That why, I swear to myself that I wont treat those particular peoples differently from those ordinary people. Equity comes into my minds!

Talking about the homosexual character, I myself do not want to see the world get ended so soon. I mean, I am not discriminate them but just not to agree with these kind of relationship. Imagine the world is if everyone is taking this type of relationship. From the movie, Alan Turing had forced to undergo a hormones therapy that lead into serious spasm and finally lead to suicide. I do think that this is because Alan Turing had suffer enough from the world era he being where the civilization's ideology still underdeveloped. I could not do anything but only can felt the pity from him. I cannot blame the goverment for forcing him to undergo chemical castration, it might be the best option in that era.But some homosexuals are born that way and this is their natural. However, I do believe if Alan Turing was born in 20 century, his life could be far more better.

The Imitation Game" is an almost perfect film. The acting is incredible and believable, by everyone in the cast. The film is alternating between the three different time periods smoothly and without any confusion. The story itself kept me interested and engaged. Therefore, I can without a doubt say that this is a must watch film.

KELLIE'S CASTLE
One of my personal favorite place is the Kellie's castle, forty kilometres south of Ipoh along Jalan Gopeng .Kellie's Castle was built by a Scottish planter William Kellie Smith from a little town in Scotland. He built the building for his beloved wife. The whole building was build by brick and also the building design is due to his fascination of the Hindu religion and India. When u walk around, you csn see there have a lot of umcompleted work because of the early death  of Wiliam. This castle having the 1st elevator in Malaysia, it travels from the roof down to the underground tunnels. Nowadays , you still can experiencing the underground tunnel because it has beem maintence nicely. When you entered the underground , you can really feeling cold and creepy atmosphere. Moreover, you can also explored more  to the castle design and also the ghost rumours.
After that we going to visit kellie's castle
Story about Kellie castle ~ According to the traveler going to kellie castle at night , they saw a guys standing at the side of window and looking at outside .
